Rushashi is the bigger of two washing stations connected to coop Abakundakawa. More than half of the producers at Rushashi is women and you can see them walk along the road with their umbrellas over their shoulder, to cover them from the heating sun. This natural lot is one of many things that make Rushashi unique. These producers are truly progressive in their thrive for coffee excellence. Oh, and this coffee is not just tasty and special, its also organic.
Rushashi är den större av två tvättstationer som hör till kooperativet Abakundakawa. Mer än hälften av producenterna hos Rushashi är kvinnor och du kan se dom gå längs vägarna med ett paraply över axeln, som skygg mot den gassande solen. Detta är ett bärtorkat kaffe, något unikt för Rwanda och en av många saker som gör Rushashi speciellt. Producenterna här är verkligen progressiva och strävar efter att skapa ett speciellt kaffe på alla möjliga sätt. Och inte nog med att detta kaffet är gott och speciellt, det är även ekologiskt.
